LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. – The Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) released the 2015 All-SCAC Women's Soccer Teams on Friday. Headlining four members from the University of Dallas was sophomore Elena Naccari (Covington, La.). The goalkeeper was voted SCAC Defensive Player-of-the-Year, and also got named to the All-Conference First Team.

Naccari adds to her postseason accolades after claiming a spot on the All-Tournament team from last weekend that was hosted by the Lady Crusaders. Naccari received honors in her rookie season, by being 2014 All-SCAC Tri-Newcomer-of-the-Year and an All-SCAC Honorable Mention.

In her sophomore campaign, Naccari logged a career most 1,811:53 minutes after starting 20 matches for UD. Naccari finished second in the league with 137 saves, and displayed a 1.94 goals allowed average and 77.8 save percentage.

Overall, the Lady Crusaders notched five awards with the remaining trio of honors coming from the All-SCAC Second Team. Forming this group included: freshman Mason Cosgrove (Las Cruces, N.M.), junior Cascade Mayer (Kapaa, Hawaii), and sophomore Lauren Hood (Bedford, Texas).

Cosgrove paced the squad with a team-high nine points. The forward was also the team-leader in goals and assists with three apiece. Her first collegiate point occurred on a goal at Mills College in a 4-1 win. The Lady Crusaders were 4-1 in contests Cosgrove tallied at least a point.

Mayer was tabbed on the all-conference second team for the second consecutive year. She managed a pair of assists on the season, both coming in shut out wins for UD. Hood rounded out the awards with her first all-conference honor of her career. The defender kicked one goal this season, which was the first of the team's season-high 5-0 win versus Sul Ross Stat University. Hood helped the backline for the Navy and White blank opponents six times this fall.

A first-team vote was worth two points and a second-team vote was worth one point. Any player who received at least two different votes from the coaches, but did not receive enough votes to earn either first or second team honors, was named Honorable Mention. Coaches could not vote for their own players."
