Brunter, Chambers, Hasson, Rogers selected to 2012 All-SCAC Women's Soccer 'First Team'

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - The Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) has named four University of Dallas student-athletes -- Rebecca Brunter, Marin Chambers, Brigid Hasson and Emily Rogers -- on the 2012 All-SCAC Women's Soccer First Team. 

Brunter (Los Alamitos, Calif.), a freshman forward, has also earned the title of 2012 SCAC Women's Soccer Newcomer-of-the-Year. She finished tied for eighth in the SCAC with 14 points and six goals, respectively. Brunter's three game-winning goals tied her for second in the league.  

Chambers (Anchorage, Alaska), a senior midfielder, ranked fourth in the SCAC with nine goals and seven assists, respectively. Her 54 total shots ranked third in 2012, while 25 points was fifth most.

Hasson (Fairfax, Va.), a junior goalkeeper, calculated 129 saves in 2012 to lead the SCAC. Her .763 save percentage was second in the league, while a 1.93 goals against average was third. Her 40 goals against was fifth best. Hasson was previously dubbed a 2011 All-SCAC Third Team selection.

Rogers (San Antonio, Texas), a junior defender, was integral in Hasson's and Dallas' success in 2012. The defensive stalwart showed her offensive prowess with three goals and three assists from 40 shots. Rogers was previously proclaimed a 2011 All-SCAC Third Team honoree.
