Women's Soccer can't crack Concordia

On Tuesday afternoon, the University of Dallas women's soccer team (3-7-1) battled the Concordia Tornados, losing the game 0-2. The Crusaders fought well on defense, but were not able to sustain offensive pressure throughout. Concordia had 23 shots while Dallas accumulated four.

UD freshman forward Claire Sexton (Salem, VA/Salem H.S.) had three of Dallas' shots, two of which were on goal. Additionally, junior forward Summer Northern (Castle Rock, CO/Douglas County H.S.) one shot was on goal.

Despite giving up two goals, Crusader freshman goalkeeper Brigid Hasson (Fairfax, VA/Trinity at Meadowview) had five saves on the day, and continues to gain invaluable experience.

Next up for UD is a home game versus Centre College on Oct. 15, at 4:00 p.m.
