UD Women's Lacrosse Falls at Colorado College on Sunday

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The University of Dallas women's lacrosse team dropped its road match at Colorado College on Sunday. Dallas was limited to a pair of shots and Kathleen Rodda (Granite Bay, Calif.) Clarisa Duvvuri (San Marcos, Calif.) led the team with three ground balls. Sam Ketter (Parker, Colo.) and Sophia Haesuer (Napa, Calif.) added a pair each, and Gabby Dixon (San Diego, Calif.) won the lone UD draw control.

Colorado College moved to 5-2 overall, with five wins row and the last four wins coming against conference opponents Southwestern University and Dallas. Bella Scola and Bella Beattie led with four goals apiece and the latter putting up two assists to give six points. The leader in points on the day was Bridget Hanley who dished eight helpers to go along with one-of-four hat tricks. The final hat trick went to Courtney Zell. Hayley Heinecken stood out in the stat sheet with 11 draw controls.

Dallas plays two more regular season matches with back-to-back games on April 24 and 25. The Saturday match will be against Hendrix College at 11 a.m. The team will conclude the regular season at Southwestern University at 1 p.m.
