Burch Selected as SCAC Golfer of the Week, Her Second of the Season

IRVING, Texas - On the back of another top-10 finish at The Legends Cup, junior Kimberly Burch has been selected as the SCAC Women's Golfer of the Week for the week of competition from Sept. 27 through Oct. 3.

Burch finished ninth in the 61-player field at the 5727-yard, par 72 Legends Golf Club in Kingsland, Texas.  Burch shot rounds of 78 and 77 to finish at +11 for the tournament and was the top finishing SCAC golfer at the event, out pacing inviduals from Schreiner, Texas Lutheran, and Centenary.  Burch was seventh in the field with four birdies and tied for sixth with 23 pars over two rounds.

This was the 17th top-10 finish of her career out of 21 events played.
