Crusaders in 6th at The Legends Cup

KINGSLAND, Texas - The University of Dallas women's golf team are in sixth place at The Legends Cup in Kingsland after shooting a 328 in round one on Monday.  They have a one stroke lead on seventh place East Texas Baptist and are one stroke behind fifth place Schreiner.  The hosts, Mary Hardin-Baylor, are currently in first place after a first round score of 307.

Kimberly Burch leads the Crusaders in a tie for ninth place with a first round score of 78 (+6), six strokes behind the leader, Alyssa Yee of UC Santa Cruz and three strokes from forming a five-way tie for second place.  Lauren Waltzer isn't far behind in a seven-way tie for 17th after shooting 80 (+8).

Gabby Ramirez finished the day in a three-way tie for 35th with an 84 (+12).  Madi Meduna and Clair Kirby round out the field for Dallas, sitting right next to each other at T42 and T44 with scores of 86 (+14) and 87 (+15), respectively.

UD returns to action on Tuesday, Oct. 3 for a 9:00 a.m. shotgun start to complete the final round of the tournament.
