Women's Golf Competes at Alamo City Classic

SAN ANTONIO, Texas - The University of Dallas women's golf team completed day one of the Alamo City Class hosted by Trinity University on Monday.  They are currently in fifth place in the field of six SCAC schools at +56.  They finished one stroke ahead of Schreiner and 16 strokes behind fourth place Texas Lutheran.  Trinity sits atop the standings at the moment at +27, fifve strokes ahead of second place Southwestern.

Kimberly Burch leads the pack for Dallas after shooting a 77 in round one.  At +6, she is tied for fifth, two strokes behind the top three, and four strokes behind leader Wynter Flores of Texas Lutheran.  Lauren Waltzer and Gabby Ramirez finished tied for 27th, both of them shooting 87's, and Clair Kirby rounds out the Dallas team with an 89 in round one.  

The tournament will conclude with one round of play tomorrow at The Quarry Golf Club.
