Women's Golf Competes in Lady Bulldog Classic
BLANCO, Texas - The University of Dallas women's warpped up competition in the Lady Bulldogs Classic on Tuesday. The Crusaders finished in ninth place in the field of nine schools with a two-round score of 725, finishing four strokes behind eighth place Hardin-Simmons. Mary Hardin-Baylor took the overall team win with a two-round score of 632.
Kimberly Burch paced the team and notched herself another top 10 finish, tieing for seventh place at +16 for the tournament. She was just three strokes from a top three finish, but Sarah Kmiecik of UMHB ran away with the win at +1 after two days.
Lauren Waltzer tied for 29th in her first collegiate event, shooting +29 for the tournament, 86 being her low round on day two. Clair Kirby finished T41 at +44, and Gabby Ramirez finished at +60 in her collegiate debut.

The Crusaders have a lengthy break before their next event. They won't compete again until October, when they take part in the Tempest Intercollegiate on Oct. 3 and Oct. 4.
