Crusaders Take 6th, Burch Finishes Seventh at UTD Lidlifter

KINGWOOD, Texas - The University of Dallas women's golf team shot a two-round score of 715 to finish sixth at the UTD Lidlifter on Tuesday.  The Crusaders had nearly identical round scores, shooting 358 in round one and 357 in round two to finish +69 for the tournament.  They finished three strokes above last place Hardin-Simmons, and 40 strokes behind fourth place East Texas Baptist.

Kimberly Burch sat in 10th place at the end of day one, shooting 81 to finish +6 on the day.  She knocked three strokes off her round and climbed three places in the standings with a round two score of 78, finishing just three strokes outside the top five.  Madi Meduna was in 19th after one round with a score of 88, but would drop to 26th, one stroke behind her teammate Clair Kirby who took 25th.  Kayleigh Richardson finished T27 with a two round total of 189, and Tiffany Han finished 34th shooting 234 for the tournament.
