Women's Golf Post Season Best Third Place Finish
THACKERVILLE, Okla. - The University of Dallas women's golf team hosted their final event of the fall, the Crusader Invitational, at the WinStar Golf Course, posting a 36-hole score of 707 for a season best third place finish. They were 59 strokes back from second place East Texas Baptist and 81 strokes behind the leaders UTD.
Kimberly Burch sat squarely in third place after day one with a score of 76, five strokes behind the day one leader and eventual champion, UTD's Karen Alvarez. She nearly replicated that score on day two, shooting a 77 to finish one stroke behind second place finisher, UTD's Sofia Trevino, and two strokes ahead of fourth place Emma Luna of St. Thomas. Claire Kirby and Kaylei Richardson finished 23rd and T24, respectively, with two-day totals of 186 and 187.
