Women's Golf Finishes Sixth in Lady Bulldog Classic
SEGUIN, Texas - The University of Dallas women's golf team finished their two day, 36 hole tournament at the Lady Bulldog Classic this afternoon. The Crusaders finished in sixth place in the field of nine teams with an overall score of 693. Kimberly Burch led the Crusaders, cracking the top 20 with an overall score of 159 (+17), good enough for 14th on the individual leaderboard.
Clair Kirby shot an 87 in both rounds for an overall score of 174, placing 34th in the tournament.
Trinity topped both the overall and individual leaderboards, shooting 603 as a team (+35) with Kiona Hsiu leading the pack at +4 (146 overall, 70 RD1, 76 RD2).
The Crusaders are back in action in two weeks time. They will play in the Tempest Intercollegiate Tournament hosted by LeTourneau University on Monday Oct. 4 and Tuesday Oct. 5 in Gladwater, Texas.
