UD Women's Golf Complete SCAC Championship on Tuesday

BLANCO, Texas - The trio Crusaders completed their competition in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) Women's Golf Championship on Tuesday.  Clair Kirby (Lubbock, Texas) finished with the UD best score in 20th place with a final tally of 188 strokes.  Kaylei Richardson (Vega, Texas) ended the tournament in 23rd place with a score of 198, and Emma Christensen (West Haven, Utah) placed 25th with a score of 211.

Trinity University was the tournament champion with a score of 645, winning their fifth SCAC title and their fourth since 2014.  Southwestern University dropped to second place after having a day one lead ending day two with a score of 653.

Madison Goldberg from Southwestern won the tournament medalist award with her two day low score of 154 just edging out Trinity's Raquel Hill who scored 155.  The highest finisher from a school that was neither Trinity nor Southwestern was Juliana Hudman from St. Thomas who placed fourth with a final score of 162.

The end of the SCAC tournament concludes the 2020-2021 season for the Crusaders.
