Kirby and Richardson Competed at Lady Crusader Spring Invitational

KILLEEN, Texas - Claire Kirby (Lubbock, Texas) and Kaylei Richardson (Vega, Texas) competed individually for the University of Dallas women's golf team in the Lady Crusader Spring Invitational on Saturday and Sunday.

Kirby placed 23rd with a score of 187 strokes, and Richardson placed 26th with a score of 195 strokes.

The team winner for the two day tournament was the host team, the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor with a team score of 635.  The tournament medalist was UMHB's Jo Tiger with a low score of 151.

The UD women's team is off until the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) Championship.  The SCAC Championship will be held on Monday and Tuesday, April 19 and 20, at Vaaler Creek golf course in Blanco, Texas.
