Kirby and Christiansen Improve on Scores in Round 2

SAN ANTONIO, Texas - Claire Kirby (Lubbock, Texas) and Emma Christiansen (West Haven, Utah) completed their individual competition for the University of Dallas women's golf team at the Alamo City Classic on Tuesday. Kirby finished the tournament in 22nd place shooting 92 on Tuesday and a two day score of 187.  Christiansen ended the tournament in 26th with a score of 199 and shot 97 in the second round.

The winner of the Alamo City Classic was Karen Alvarez from the University of Texas at Dallas with a score of 150.  Teammate Lindy Patterson placed second with a score of 151, Trinity University's Kiona Hsia and Caterina Mora Adrover both tied for third with scores of 158.

The top three teams were UT-Dallas with 613, Trinity with 633, and St. Thomas University with 677.

The next stop for the Crusaders will be the Schreiner Spring Shootout, which will take place in Kerrville, Texas, on March 8 and 9.
