Crusaders Downed by Trinity

SAN ANTONIO, Texas - The University of Dallas women's basketball team lost their conference match with #4 Trinity University 109-47 on Friday.  The Crusaders fall to 10-12 on the year and 6-8 in conference play.

Ashley Hall had the second most points in the game with 14, going 4-of-7 from the field and trailing only Trinity's Claire Hale, who had 18 points.

Bailey Melton, Imani Hardin, and Alyssa Sullivan each tallied six points.  Sullivan led the team with six rebounds, and Hardin was right behind with five.  

Caroline Croft had four steals in the game, just one short of her career best of five steals which she set on Nov. 19 this season against LeTourneau.

The Crusaders set a season high with 39 free throw attempts, making 21 of them for a 53.8% on the night.

Dallas will face Schreiner in Kerrville tomorrow (Feb. 11) night.  Tip-off is scheduled for 4:00 p.m.
