Crusaders Rout MUW, Notch Biggest Win Since 2014

WEBSTER GROVES, Mo - The University of Dallas wrapped up play in the Webster Tip-Off Classic with a match against MUW on Saturday.  The Crusaders won 111-45 to finish their opening weekend 1-1.

Dallas jumped out to a 13-0 lead in the first quarter and never looked back, dropping nearly 50 points in the first half.  Their lead only grew with 34 points in the third quarter, the most points scored in a single quarter in program history since women's basketball made the switch to quarters in 2015.

By the end of it, the Crusaders had cracked triple digits.  They were just three points away from tying the program record of 114 points, set on December 20, 2002 against Fisher.  As a team, Dallas went 36-81 from the field (56.8%), they're best single game mark since 2015 (51% vs Dallas Christian), and went 9-20 (45%) from three.  It was the program's biggest win since defeating Southwestern Adventist 92-43 in December 2014.

Adryan Alvarez was recognized for her efforts in the tournament, being selected to the All-Tournament Team after scoring 16 points against Webster and dropping 20 points in 26 minutes against MUW.
