Crusaders Fall to Austin College

SHERMAN, Texas - The University of Dallas women's basketball team lost their conference matchup with Austin College 82-40 this Tuesday evening.  They fall to 5-15 on the year and 2-10 in conference play.

Things were pretty even in the early goings, with Dallas trailing by just three points after the first quarter.  But things rapidly took a turn for the worse as the Crusaders endured a painful cold streak that lasted the entirety of the second and third quarters.  The Roos' lead ballooned to 33 points by the end of the third, as the Crusaders made just three field goals (3-24, 12.5%) in that span.

Despite a much stronger performance in the fourth quarter, there was no coming back for Dallas as the Roos saw out a comfortable win.

Adyran Alvarez led the Crusaders with 12 points, playing 23 minutes off the bench.
