The University of Dallas women's basketball team starts 2020 on the road in Colorado. Dallas (3-5, 1-1 SCAC) battles Johnson & Wales University-Denver on Friday at 7:30 p.m. (MST) and Colorado College on Saturday at 6 p.m. (MST).
UD NOTES
- The Crusaders went 2-1 in December and at home.
- Their most recent victory was a 59-54 result over Centenary College to split the first Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) weekend.
- Beyonce Perry (Lake Jackson, Texas) is averaging a team-high 13.5 points and the first to eclipse triple-digits with 108 points. She averaged 20.5 points in the pair of league games.
- Jules Oliveti (Southlake, Texas) is the other Crusader averaging double figures points (10.8). Her 7.8 rebounds a contest also lead the squad. The forward is shooting 56.3 percent overall, which is second in the SCAC.
- Dallas is one of four conference schools to have just two league games played, while the remaining six have played back-to-back weekends. Nine teams have broken into the win column, with Trinity University and Austin College sitting 2-0 as unbeaten.

- Johnson & Wales (1-8, 1-3 SCAC) won last time out at Centenary College, 58-54.
- Like Dallas, the Wildcats are averaging 52 points this season.
- Katey Guzman and Brianna Bailey are the leading scorers averaging 16.2 and 14.1 points, respectively. Guzman ranks 4th in SCAC for her scoring average.
- Colorado College (7-4, 3-1 SCAC) ended a seven-game winning streak at University of St. Thomas last Monday, with a two-point setback of 74-72.
- Until then, the Tigers had won their first three SCAC contests by a combined 231 points to 166 points.
- McKenzee Gerts has been a top force in the league so far with 19.3 points (2nd SCAC) and 8.8 rebounds (T-1st SCAC). Jordan Meltzer is also averaging double figures (11.1). CC has pulled down 478 rebounds (43.5) to 430 (39.1) by opponents.
