Women's Basketball Tonry Earns Final SCAC Player of the Week this Season

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. – HOLLY TONRY OF THE UNIVERSITY OF DALLAS, a senior guard from Seattle, Wash. has been named the SCAC Women's Basketball Player of the Week for games played through Sunday, February 19th. She earns her first honor of the season and second of her career.

Tonry gave her best scoring performance of her career in her final game at the Maher Center Saturday afternoon. Tonry led the conference in scoring last week with 24 points on 10-of-19 shooting from the floor. She also tallied six rebounds, seven assists, four steals and a pair of blocks in a win over Colorado College.

The win secured the Crusaders a spot in the SCAC Tournament, which begins this Friday in Georgetown, Texas. Sixth-seeded Dallas will face third-seeded Austin College at 2 p.m.
