Senior guard Kylie Yoshimura selected SCAC Women's Basketball 'Player of the Week'

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - KYLIE YOSHIMURA OF THE UNIVERSITY OF DALLAS, a senior guard from Temple City, Calif., has been named Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) Women's Basketball Player-of-the-Week for games played Monday, Feb. 4 - Sunday, Feb. 10, 2013. 

Yoshimura was outstanding offensively this week, as Dallas split two games with Austin College.

Yoshimura averaged 30 points-per-game while shooting nearly 60 percent from the field (22 of 37) and 50 percent from 3-point range (11 of 22). She also averaged 3.5 assists/game two rebounds/game and two steals/game during the week.

On Friday, Yoshimura scored 26 points on 10-of-16 shooting (62.5 percent) and 5-of-10 from beyond the arc. She also added three rebounds and two steals.

Against Austin College on Sunday, Yoshimura scored 34 points on 12-of-21 shooting and was 6-of-12 from 3-point range. She also was 4-of-4 from the free throw line and added two steals.
