Colorado College turns table on Women's Basketball, rallies to 62-59 decision

IRVING, Texas - The University of Dallas women's basketball team (5-8, 0-5 SCAC) led by as many as 26 points in the first half, but fell 62-59 to Colorado College on Friday evening at the Maher Athletic Center.

Dallas boasted a 45-21 halftime advantage over Colorado (3-12, 3-2 SCAC).

The tables turned, however, as Colorado converted 14-of-22 (63.6 percent) from the field and outscored the Lady Crusaders 41-14 in the second half.

Kalli Kleming produced 21 of her game-high 33 points in the final half to help the Lady Tigers claw back to a three-point victory.

Not trailing since 18:23 of the first half, Dallas succumbed their lead with 15 seconds remaining in regulation. Kleming's three free throws down the stretch proved the difference.

Brooke Hagemann (Oklahoma City, Okla.) tallied a team-high 14 points in defeat, while fellow sophomore guards Marleyna Bustamante (Donna, Texas) and Christina Kurt (Katy, Texas) each amassed 10 points.
