Women's Basketball rides four-game winning-streak after 82-42 dismantling of Dallas Christian

IRVING, Texas - The University of Dallas women's basketball team is unbeaten in their previous four, after posting an 82-42 victory over Dallas Christian College (DCC) on Wednesday evening at the Maher Athletic Center. 

Senior guard Kylie Yoshimura (Temple City, Calif.) poured in 15 points to tie DCC's (0-2) Whitney Williams for the game-high. Yoshimura's eight assists topped all participants.

Junior post Christy Allen (Burton, Mich.) contributed 14 points, while freshman guard Christina Kurt (Katy, Texas) tallied 11 on the stat sheet.

Leading 47-21 at halftime, Dallas shot 34-of-83 (41 percent) on the game.

DCC was held to 14-of-57 (24.6 percent), and forced into 28 turnovers.

The Lady Crusaders boasted a 58-36 rebound margin, and claimed a 44-16 points-in-the-paint advantage.

Next opponent: 

Dallas will not play a game over the next 16 days. The Lady Crusaders host Centenary College of Louisiana on Saturday, Dec. 15, to begin Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference play.
