Four Crusaders Earn All-SCAC Honors

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - Following the exclusive all-conference voting by the head coaches of the SCAC, four Crusaders were selected for All-SCAC Honorable Mention honors: Annabel Anderson, Madison Coutts, Emily Luna, and Jennifer Schmalz.

Anderson led Dallas with two home runs and and was second on the team with 13 RBI's while hitting .284 and slugging .432.  Coutts was in the top 20 in RBI's with her team leading 16 runs batted in while hitting .252.  She was also eighth in the conference with seven runners caught stealing, including throwing out Texas Lutheran's Kelly Jurden, who set the conference record with 63 stolen bases and was only caught five times this year.

Luna sat just outside the top five in the conference with 18 stolen bases.  She was fourth in the conference with 18 walks and recorded 33 hits in 34 games for a .333/.437/.343 slash line.  Her .437 OBP was good enough for sixth in the conference, and her .333 average led the Crusaders.  Schmalz was second on the team with a .298 batting average and was eighth in the conference with 13 stolen bases.
