Miller leads Softball Awards with NFCA All-Region 2nd Team and USCAA 1st Team All-American

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Jade Miller (Plano, Texas) from the University of Dallas clinched a pair of postseason honors to add her impressive count in her first collegiate year with the Crusaders. The freshman outfielder was named to the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) West All-Region Second Team on Monday. After capturing Co-Player of the Year with the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) for the first time in program history, Miller was the first player to have earned a spot on the All-Region Team since Jamie Schwark (1st Team) and Janel Erlinger (3rd) achieved the feat in 2004. Now six players all-time from Dallas have been named NFCA All-Region accolades.
