Erin Begle named @SCAC_Sports Softball 'Offensive-Player of the Week'

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - ERIN BEGLE OF UNIVERSITY OF DALLAS, a sophomore infielder from Houston, Texas, has been selected the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) Softball Offensive-Player-of-the-Week for games played Monday, Feb. 17, through Sunday, Feb. 23.

Begle had a huge week at the plate, going 10-for-15 (.667 average), with five doubles, 10 RBI and two-runs scored to lead the Lady Crusaders to a 2-2 week.

Begle combined for four hits (two doubles) and four RBI in the two-game sweep over Southwestern Assemblies of God University, which included two of her five doubles.

She came back, later in the week, and exploded against Hendrix, hitting 3-for-4 in both games.

Begle came through with a double and two RBI in the first outing, and then added two doubles and four RBI in the finale.
