Lyda Tesauro touted as 2014 @USCAA Softball 'Second Team' All-American

AKRON, Ohio - University of Dallas freshman utility-player Lyda Tesauro (Hollywood, Fla.) has been tabbed by the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) to the 2014 USCAA Softball All-American Second Team.

All-Academic and All-American selections were announced on Monday at the USCAA National Championship. Statistics do not include postseason play.

Tesauro started 29-of-32 games played and boasted a team-high .449 batting average for Dallas.

Her three sacrifice flies were second-best in the USCAA. Tesauro also notably had 17 stolen bases (15th), three triples (19th), seven doubles (35th), 35 hits (39th) and 48 total bases (44th).
