Lyda Tesauro selected to 2014 All-@SCAC_Sports Softball 'Second Team'

SEGUIN, Texas - The Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) has balloted University of Dallas freshman designated player Lyda Tesauro (Hollywood, Fla.) to the 2014 All-SCAC Softball Second Team.

This honor comes for Tesauro on the heels of a 11-27 (7-15 SCAC) regular-season by the Lady Crusaders. 

Tesauro, who started 29-of-32 games played, boasted a .443 batting average from 88 at-bats in 2014. 

Her 18 stolen bases and three sacrifice flies finished as the high watermark in the SCAC.

The 5-foot-5 right-hander also notably had three triples (second), eight doubles (11th), 39 hits (12th) and 53 total bases (13th).
