Dallas drops Pair of One-Run Decisions to Conclude the Gene Cusic Collegiate Classic

FORT MYERS, Fla. – The University of Dallas softball team was downed by a run in two contests on Wednesday in day two of the Gene Cusic Collegiate Classic. Salem State walked off in the seventh for an 8-7 final. Each squad scored four runs in the fourth to have the contest even at seven. In the later game, Dallas scored the tying run in the fifth inning against Olivet College. However the opponent scored in the sixth and would hold onto a 4-3 decision. Taylor Garcia led the Crusaders with a 3-for-4 with three RBI.
