USCAA names Jessica Mollner to 2011 Softball 'All-American Team' and 'National All-Academic Team'

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. - University of Dallas Softball junior utility player Jessica Mollner (St. Paul, Minn./Convent of the Visitation School) has been named to the United States Collegiate Athletic Association's (USCAA) 'All-American Team' and 'National All-Academic Team.'

Mollner -- a psychology major with a 3.6 GPA -- boasted a team-leading .387 batting average in 93 at-bats, while starting 34 games for the Lady Crusaders in 2011. She led the team in hits (36), runs (36), slugging percentage (.516) and on-base percentage (.477), and finished tied for first in touched bases (48), stolen bases (19) and home runs (2). Of note, her 1.06 runs scored per game ranks her 82nd nationally in all of NCAA DIII Softball.
