Meanwhile, sophomore Brittany Castro (Houston, Texas/Langham Creek H.S.) also pitched in the game.

Game 2: Dallas 1, Hendrix College 16 (F/5) Boxscore

Game 2 was much of the same for a relatively inexperienced Dallas squad, but the Lady Crusaders were able to get three hits on the scoreboard -- coming from Hinze, freshman Meredith Noe (Sugar Land, Texas/St. Agnes Academy), and senior Jesse Allen, whom was also the lone run for the Crusaders.

Again, both Hinze and Castro pitched for Dallas, and allowed a combined 10 earned runs from the hill.
