Mollner Named USCAA Academic All-American

Sophomore outfielder Jessica Mollner (St. Paul, MN/Covent of the Visitation School) wrapped up another great season on the field and in the classroom in by garnering Academic All-American honors from the United States Collegiate Athletic Association.  The undeclared undergraduate student batted .380 (30-79) in 32 games for the UD softball team.  Among her 30 hits were 2 doubles, 7 triples, and a homerun for a .620 slugging percentage.  She also drove in 13 runs, scored 27 times, held an on base percentage of .459 and finished the year with 10 stolen bases.  In her two seasons with the team, the speedster from Minnesota has 37 stolen bases.
