Alexander Bozhilov named SCAC Runner of the Week

ALEXANDER BOZHILOV OF UNIVERSITY OF DALLAS, a first-year from Sofia, Bulgaria, has been selected the SCAC Men’s Cross Country Runner of the Week for meets ran Friday, August 30 and Saturday, August 31. SCAC Cross Country Release (Week 1)

Running in his very first collegiate meet, Bozhilov placed second with a time of 15:30.4 at the Nicole Leman Invitational hosted by LeTourneau University. The freshman went neck to neck with a competitor from NAIA Texas A&M Texarkana for most of the race and broke the school's 3-mile record previously set in 2010 by Clement O'Reilly.
