Crusaders Finish 24th at Chile Pepper Festival

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - The University of Dallas men's cross country team competed in Chile Pepper Festival on Friday, one of the most renowned meets in the southern United States.  The Crusaders finished 24th out of 31 teams with a total score of 648 points.  Thomas Lagarde paced the Crusaders with a 87th place finish in a field of over 250 runners, coming in with  final time of 28:26.4.

Ethan Reyes came in at 140th with a final time of 30:05, with Luke Lacour not far off with a time of 30:57.

Gudisa Adnow of Fort Scott Communty College won the race with a time of 25:09, and Berket Mesele of Christian Brothers came in second with a time of 25:35.

The Crusaders penultimate regular season race is next week, as they will participate in the Mustang Invitational next Saturday, Oct. 9.
