Men's Cross Country Face The Gauntlet at Roy Griak Invitational

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. - The University of Dallas men's cross country team took part in the prestigious Roy Griak Invitational, hosted by the University of Minnesota.  In the 35th running of the famous race, the Crusaders finished 27th with a total time of 2:32:15 in the 8k.

The Crusaders faced steep competition against high level Division II and Division III programs, tasked with conquering the hilly terrain in brutal rainy conditions.  Thomas Lagarde led the Crusaders once again, finishing with a final time of 29:32.2.  Luke LaCour and Ethan Reyes were next, finishing right alongside each other with final times of 30:18.5 and 30:20.2, respectively.

The Crusaders are right back at it next weekend as they will take part in the Chili Pepper Festival, hosted by the University of Arkansas.  They will run the 8k on Friday, Oct. 1 in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
