Dallas Finishes Eighth at USCAA National Championship

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – The University of Dallas men's cross country team competed at the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) Championship race on Friday. The Crusaders finished eighth out of 11 teams with a score of 207. Thomas Lagarde (Linden, Va.) paced the team with a 12th place finish and a new Personal Record (PR) of 27:28.64 in the 8k race. He also notched All-American Second Team, as the top-14 finishers claimed a position on the first or second team.

John James (Metairie, La.) notched the second-best time for Dallas (29:51.67) with a 39th place finish. Robert Lueck (Thousand Oaks, Calif.) and Caleb Clayton (Kerrville, Texas) also secured PR's on the day with finishes of 31:35.42 and 31:50.07, respectively. Stephen Brennan (Tulsa, Okla.) also competed for Dallas on the day.

Dallas has concluded the 2019 season.
