LAKELAND, Fla. – The University of Dallas men's cross country team took ninth place in the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) on Friday. The Crusaders totaled 226 points as a team and would race in their fourth 8K this fall.

Senior Ryan McAnany (Kansas City, Kan.) notched the team's top time individually by claiming 18th overall in the race. The Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) all-conference member posted a time of 28:54 minutes.

Fellow classmate Javier Secaira (Tacoma, Wash.) came in not far behind at 21st place. His result was a 29:26, which was four seconds shy of a season personal record (PR) hit in the Codfish Bowl on September 19.

Senior Jack Grubner (Needham, Mass.) entered a 31:00 minute-flat time to improve on last weekend's race in the conference championships. Overall, 126 racers participated on the men's side.

Berea College would sweep the top three individual spots as Emmanuell Kemmei (26:32), Jeremy Johnson (26:42), and Logan McKenzie (26:52) all completed the race within a 10 second span.

BC also took first in the team award with 25 points. SUNY-ESF would claim second with 69 points and SUNY-Delhi rounded out the top three with 76 points.
