Men's Cross Country Gerald Richey Invite Results

GRAND PRAIRIE, Texas – The University of Dallas men's cross country team competed in the University of Texas at Arlington (UTA) Gerald Richey Cross Country Invite on Saturday. The competition featured Division I opponents: Baylor University and host school UTA. Dallas Baptist University, Texas Wesleyan University, and Paul Quinn College also participated. 

Headlining the individuals for Dallas was senior Ryan McAnany (Kansas City, Kan.) with a fourth place finish. He improved on his season personal record (PR) with a time of 16:19 minutes. Altogether four Crusaders' cracked season-bests. Forming the quartet with McAnany included: junior Matt Klem (Livermore, Calif.), freshman Caine Mongeau (Little Elm, Texas), and senior Javier Secaira (Tacoma, Wash.).

Secaira posted the next highest mark for UD with a time of 18:15, and senior Jack Grubner (Needham, Mass.) made his fall debut by running an 18:18 minute result. Rounding out the top five for Dallas were freshman Rafael Medina (Waco, Texas) and sophomore Peter deTar (Coeur d'Alene, Idaho) with times of 19:19 and 20:12, respectively.
