@UofDallas Men's Cross Country takes Third Place at Texas Wesleyan Ram Rumble

FORT WORTH, Texas - The University of Dallas men's cross country team opened its 2014 campaign under first-year head coach Matt Barber at the Texas Wesleyan University Ram Rumble on Friday. 

The host school clinched first place, whille the navy and white took third behind Clarendon College.

Junior Ryan McAnany (Kansas City, Kan.) paced the team with a seventh-place finish in 17:14 on the 5k course. 

Sophomores Javier Secaira (Tacoma, Wash.) and Jack Grubner (Needham, Mass.) completed the trek in 18:05 and 18:08, respectively.

Zach Zendt (Belton, Texas) and Aaron French (Siren, Wis.) rounded out the top five for the Crusaders.

Dallas will compete in the University of Texas-Arlington Gerald Richey Invite on Saturday, Sept. 13.
