Men's Cross Country scampers to Seventh, McAnany finishes Eighth in 2012 USCAA Championships
LAKE PLACID, N.Y. - The University of Dallas men's cross country team concluded their 2012 season Friday with a seventh-place finish at the 2012 United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) Cross Country Championships.
Freshman runner Ryan McAnany (La Quivira, Kan.) led Dallas with his eighth-place time of 28:28.01 on the 8K course at Paul Smith's College.
Fellow freshman Javier Secaira (Tacoma, Wash.) crossed the finish-line at 28:57.05 to earn 13th overall.
The Crusaders finished with 198 points, one-point behind New Hampshire Technical Institute for sixth.
SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry took first-place, as all of their seven runners achieved top-15 times.
Dine College's Dustin Abeita paced all runners, garnering a winning time of 27:36.61.
