Coach Nick said this when recaping this weekends events, “ There are not many opportunities to run the 10,000 meters in the south so this was a golden opportunity to do this early in the season to gain some experience. Both Ally and Alex will run the 10k at conference while we had to get an official time in for Alex to get him in the highly prestigious Texas Relays next week. They both ran a great race and we will build from here for both of them.”
