Dallas Wraps Up Season in Seguin

SEGUIN, Texas - The Crusaders hit the road to embark upon an opportunity to cap off the season with an improved showing at the conference championships.

At the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Track and Field Championships, on the mens side Alex Bozhilov secured second place in the 10,000 meters and followed it with a third-place finish in the 5,000 meters, earning All-Conference honors in both events. Ally Leonesio had a standout performance, competing in the 10,000 meters, 5,000 meters, and finishing eighth in the pole vault.

Therese Portilla and Abby Piotrowski both achieved personal records in the 5,000 meters. Brennan McNamara ran a season-best time in the 5,000 meters. Martin Lane set personal records in both the 5,000 meters and the 1,500 meters.

Maya Prochnow delivered her second-best performance in the triple jump and also competed strongly in the long jump. She also recorded a personal best in the 400 meters.

Overall, the team delivered strong performances and numerous personal records across multiple events.
