UD Men's Track & Field Day 1 Results at SCAC Championships

SEGUIN, Texas - The University of Dallas men's track and field competed in the first day of the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) Championships in Seguin, Texas on Saturday.  After one day four Crusaders have completed thus far. Logan Byrum (Kingsburg, Calif.) was the first Crusaders to achieve a new PR at the SCAC Championship throwing 11.04m (36'2.75") in the men's shot put.  Byrum is also so far the highest placing Crusaders finishing in ninth for shot put.

Sam McLard (Flower Mound, Texas) also improved on his 200m dash time running a wind-assisted time of 29.98.

Nico Walz (Irving, Texas) and James LaTour (Lubbock, Texas) both ran in the 10,000m run with times of 39:50.50 and 41:49.36.

Max Crowder (La Marque, Texas) was also scratched from the 200m in a coach's decision.

Dallas will compete again tomorrow in day two of the SCAC Championships.
