Men's Track and Field results at East Texas Time Trials

TYLER, Texas – The University of Dallas men's track and field team competed in the East Texas Time Trials on Friday. Several personal records highlighted a nice debut to the campaign for the Crusaders.

Junior Ryan McAnany (Kansas City, Kan.) set the school record in the two mile race with a time of 9:58 minutes. His strong showing placed him in fifth place.

Also ranking within the top 10 on the two mile was fellow classmate Jack Grubner (Needham, Mass.) in sixth with a 10:25.00 score.

Another junior Paulo Salazar (Dallas, Texas) claimed second in the Discus Throw with 114'8'' to best his previous personal record 105'5''. He was only surpassed by University of Texas-Tyler's Gabriel Perez with a 126'6'' toss.

Dallas returns to action on Feb. 28 at the Trinity Open in San Antonio, Texas.
