SAN ANTONIO, Texas - The University of Dallas men's soccer team lost their conference match against #21 ranked Texas Lutheran 3-0 on Sunday. They fall to 1-11-3 on the year and 0-6-1 in conference play.
The Bulldogs were in firm control of the match from start to finish, but the Crusaders battled hard to keep themselves in the game. Jack Manke opened the scoring in the 8th minute for the Bulldogs, but Dallas fought to prevent them from scoring again for nearly an hour afterward, going into halftime with a very manageable 1-0 deficit.
Uday Agarwal was valiant between the sticks for UD, racking up a career-high 11 saves to keep the match close.
TLU never let their lead slip, going up 2-0 in the 55th minute, then making it 3-0 in the 83rd minute to seal the deal.
