Men's Soccer Downed by Colorado College

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The University of Dallas men's soccer team lost their conference match with Colorado College 4-0 on Sunday.  They fall to 3-10-2 on the year and 0-6 in conference play.

The Tigers were the dominant attacking force for much of the game, but the Dallas defense stood tall for much of the game.  An otherwise strong defensive showing in the first half was tainted by an early opening goal and the second goal being scored thirty seconds into the second half.

Once again, Anthony Gonzalez put in stellar work between the sticks to keep it close, notching six saves in the game.

Though Colorado let loose a flurry of shots all game, the Crusaders did well to limit high quality chances.  The Tigers would get their reward for the volume of shots they took with their third goal in the 62nd minute and their fourth goal in the 75th minute.  The Crusaders were held scoreless, giving the Tigers the win.
