Crusaders Draw at Ozarks

CONWAY, Ark. - The University of Dallas men's soccer team tied their non-conference matchup with the University of the Ozarks on Friday.  They are now 2-1-2 on the year.

A tight first half saw the Crusaders take a 1-0 lead, a 20th minute penalty kick by JC Salinas the only thing separating the two sides.  Dallas will feel they were the slightly better side in the first half and deserving of the goal, despite not finding the net from the run of play.

The Eagles were on the front foot much of the second half as they pressed for the equalizer, and they would get their reward with the game-tying goal in the 80th minute.  Chances for Dallas were few and far between in the second half, and they wouldn't register a shot at all after the equalizer.  Ozarks tried desperately for the winner late in the game and certainly ramped up the pressure with four corner kicks in the final 10 minutes, but to no avail.  The Crusaders would record their second draw of the season.
