UD Men's Soccer Drops 1-0 Result to Trinity on Friday

IRVING, Texas – The University of Dallas men's soccer team was defeated 1-0 to Trinity University on Friday afternoon. The Crusaders defense worked hard all 90 minutes to withstand 31 shots by the visiting Tigers, but the lone goal in the 49th minute would be the difference on the scoreboard.

Dallas was held to five shots in the match. The first half was dominated by the Tigers with a 16-1 difference in shots. Trinity also had attempted six corner kicks in that frame, and for the match held a 14-1 advantage. The Crusaders did get fouled more with an 11-3 difference on the stat sheet, and 8-2 edge in the second half.

Mac McCord was able to send in the winning goal at the 48:59 minute mark on an assist from Philip Duenez.
