Schwarz tabbed Men's Soccer USCAA Player of the Week

NORFOLK, Va. – Luke Schwarz (Tucson, Ariz.) of the University of Dallas men's soccer team earned this week's United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) Player of the Week honors. It is the first weekly accolade of the junior's career and second member of the Crusaders to be named this fall. Tino Gamueda (Lubbock, Texas) was goalkeeper of the week in the opening week.

Schwarz dished an assist on the first goal of the game for the Crusaders in the 88thminute of play, and netted the game-winning penalty kick in overtime at Southwestern University. The midfielder drilled a PK to keep his percentage perfect at 5-for-5 this year. He leads his team in points (17) and goals (6) this season.

Schwarz's key performance to lift UD also earned a mention in the herosports.com weekly men's soccer column.

Dallas plays its final road matches of the regular season starting Friday at Austin College. Kickoff is slated for 1 p.m.
