KERRVILLE, Texas – The University of Dallas men's soccer team (7-5, 3-4 SCAC) won its third-straight match in a 1-0 result at Schreiner University (4-6, 2-6 SCAC) on Friday. Dallas garnered its sixth shutout in the triumph, and moves to 5-2 in contests decided by a goal.

Junior forward Colton Allen (Roanoke, Texas) increased his team-leading scoring total to six with the game-winner over the Mountaineers. It was the third netter for Allen to tally as a difference maker in the match that also had him amongst team-highs in shots and shots on goal with three and two, respectively.  

Barton Holdridge and Ben Mannings each played solid games, posting a 100 percent shot on goal percentage with two shots on the target.

The squads reflected a standstill in the shooting effort, as both tallied up eight attempts apiece.

P.J. Hasson and Tino Gamueda split time in the net contributing 90 minutes of shutout soccer. The keeper duo combined for five saves

The Crusaders were ahead 1-0 by the 10:46 minute mark, and that score would remain the same through intermission and hold the remainder of the contest.

Dallas wraps up its conference road slate with a match Sunday, Oct. 12 versus Texas Lutheran. Kickoff is set at 12 p.m.
