COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The University of Dallas men's soccer team (4-5, 0-4 SCAC) dropped its fifth-straight match at No.19 Colorado College (9-1, 5-0 SCAC) on Sunday afternoon.

The setback is the team's fourth to go scoreless in after blanking opponents in the beginning four wins on the campaign. Since going undefeated in the first quartet of affairs for Dallas, the team has been unable to get in the win column.

The Crusaders mustered two shot attempts overall; one per half. Tallying the attempts were freshman midfielder Luke Schwarz (Tucson, Ariz.) and sophomore forward Barton Holdridge (Fort Worth, Texas).

A goal in the fifth minute by Max Grossenbacher, his second of the year, lifted the Tigers in the beginning half. It was one of three scores for the nationally ranked foe, as Grossenbacher found the back of the net later in the frame at the 21:23 mark. His netter put Colorado up 3-0 heading into intermission.

Soren Frykholm kept the pressure up soon after the opening goal of the day, blasting his first goal of the year at the 7:30 minute mark. Caden MacKenzie was credited with the assist.

Defensively, sophomore goalkeepers P.J. Hasson (Fairfax, Va.) and Tino Gamueda (Lubbock, Texas) split action between the posts.

Gamueda (3-3) was tabbed the starter in the first half, taking the loss after allowing three goals and picking up four saves in 45 minutes. He also faced 14 shots in the frame.

Hasson worked the remainder of the contest, turning away three shots while facing eight total attempts from the Tigers.

Dallas returns home to continue league action next Friday, Oct. 3 as it hosts Schreiner University around 4 p.m. The match follows the Dallas women's soccer team match held at 2 p.m.

Also meeting the navy and white on the pitch that weekend at the home confines will be Texas Lutheran University on Oct. 5 for a 12 p.m. kickoff. The Bulldogs will be concluding a four-game road trip that involves a makeup contest at Trinity on Sept. 29, before traveling to Austin College on Oct. 3.
